Jury


The jury for 2008 consists of Sweden’s best sushi chefs, cookbook authors and food enthusiasts with a mutual interest in Japanese foods. These are:

Joakim Lundblad (chairman of the jury)
Co-owner and chef at Japanese Style Stockholm. With his books, Sushi på svenska and Med Smak av Japan, Joakim has put Sweden on the European sushi map.

Peter Forsberg
Co-owner and chef at Hattori Sushi Devil in Stockholm. Peter is responsible for several successful restaurant launches and is one of the country’s few sushi chefs that work á la minute.

Åke Nordgren
One of the world’s foremost sake experts. After 17 years of continual visits to Japan, Åke has a unique knowledge about food and drink in Japanese culture. He also runs the company, Akebono.
